So long Bush

It is far too easy to say good riddance to Bush. Let me put it this way; he should never have been president in the first place. Thanks to him people like Rumsfeld and Cheney were allowed to do untold damage to the planet, and I don't think that's overstating it. The world is in more trouble, is more dangerous and more fractured than perhaps it ever has been and the U.S. Administration of the past 8 years has done more harm than good. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

Anyway, there are plenty of photographs and videos of the man making an idiot of himself (and us) but one of my favourite galleries is this one by cartoonist Steve Bell. Also, here is a photograph I had not seen before that makes me chuckle.

Let's see if the next administration does any better....

Thanks for that, even though an insult to intelligent chimps everywhere...

BTW- your title is our bailout.

Well said. It's difficult being American nowadays. Foreigners tend to look at us with disgust in our own country.

Hopefully we'll regain some of our respect and dignity with the actions of our new administration.
